Personal device policy during exams

We would like to confirm that our current device policy remains in effect during exams. Cell phones in particular pose a risk to exam integrity, and therefore students may not have cell phone present in any exam rooms. During exam week we ask that students check their phones into the office for secure storage prior to exams. Phones can be picked up after exams when students sign-out/leave for the day. If students need to make a call/text they can do so from the office area. Otherwise, personal device use is restricted during regular school hours. If there is reason to believe an exam has been compromised by the use of technology (personal device or other tool) the results of the exam will not be recorded and disciplinary measures will apply.
