High school Midterm and Semester 1 Final Exams are coming up January 20-23 (Monday - Thursday). Please find below an explanation of how the exam process is intended to function.
Exams will be written in individual classrooms, a schedule will be posted.
This year grade 9 will be writing midterm exams in English, Math, Science and Social Studies.
For Grade 12 the written portion of the English 30 Diploma exam is already on January 14th.
On exam days students will start with regular devotions in their homerooms.
Exams will begin by 9 a.m. and students will have until 12 p.m. to complete them. All students must stay for a minimum of one hour before handing in their exam. Diploma exams may take up to 6 hours to complete.
There are no classes on exam days. Students are encouraged to go home and study for their next exam when they have completed one.
Friday, January 24th is a non-instructional day, there is no school for K-12 on that day.
